We specialize in five design typologies which include:
NATIVE
SONORAN ENVIRONMENTS
Native Sonoran Environments restrict the plant palette to site-specific
regions throughout the Sonoran Desert. This signature approach
is socially and environmentally responsible, while moving toward
sustainability.
- Meets City of Scottsdale’s Native Area Open Space [NAOS]
requirements
- Caters to individual HOA requirements
- Encourages maximum total site area used for native Sonoran
plants
- Fosters water-conscious approach
- Eliminates noxious weeds including desert brooms, pennisetum
and tamarix
MODERN
GARDENS
Modern Gardens emphasize fundamental design concepts including
form, function, cohesion and aesthetics. Special attention is
paid to planting patterns and spacing. The use of clean lines
to compliment existing architectural form results in the creation
of original spaces with minimal effort. A minimal plant palette
is often utilized in combination with repetition of form. In a
word – simplicity.
LUSH
SUCCULENT GARDENS
Lush Succulent Gardens maximize a variety of succulent [water
storing] species, mainly aloes and agaves. Emphasis is places
on a rich combination of textures, form, color combinations, plant
groupings and density. The use of year-round flowering species
achieve a beautiful garden without the need for annuals. This
type of garden is sure to attract native and migrating habitat.
ENGLISH
COTTAGE GARDEN HYBRID
An English Cottage Garden Hybrid is a unique combination of
succulents and cacti, as well as annual and flowering shrubs used
to establish plant groupings and spaces heavily influenced by
classic English Cottage Gardens. A Sonoran-adapted plant palette
then takes into account our extreme micro-climate and balances
site-specific limitations and opportunities.
BOTANICAL
COLLECTIONS
For the plant collector in all of us! Acquire rare and hard-to-find
species which are show quality versus plants for the garden.
